  I have always liked La Fontaine and often order takeaway pizza or burgers from the restaurant. I have always enjoyed the food and outdoor eating, and found staff great and its a go to place for me,
  
  I have been told that if they think you are a visitor you get different treatment and tonight I found out what others where on about,
  
  So previously I have always eaten when in company of a fluent French speaker and had great service,
  
  I booked a meal for 2 for my girlfriends birthday on L'Ascension Jeudi, on arrival the proprietre placed us next to a wheelie bin and a large dog turd with flies on it which throughout meal proceeded to land on glasses and attempt to land on us and food, which was disgusting,
  
  It took us a long time to be served as in front of us a table of 8 persons who called proprietre by name and where familiar to him where concentrated upon,
  
  We were placed on peripherique and largely ignored, basically because they thought we were visitors,
  
  We had a nice pizza as always except for constant attention of flies from dog turd and large wheelie bin within 12 inches,
  
  After the main course (Le Royale and La Fontaine Pizza my favourite) I overheard one of the proprietres friends on next table make an incredibly offensive comment about us (which I won't repeat here) and feeling incredibly offended (rightly so) and discriminated against as etrangeres decided to leave the restaurant before taking dessert and coffee and next round of wine, as we usually would have,
  
  I could not believe my ears and to be insulted in this manner was exceptional for a town where generally I have experienced bienvenue and warmth from the residents,
  
  I will never eat in La Fontaine again and would say to British with a little French language expect to be maltreated, its not first time I've heard of it at La Fontaine and I live within line of sight of the restaurant and was treated like scum,
  
  What a birthday meal for my girlfriend,
  
  Thank you La Fontaine! N'est Pas!
  
  We will not be back and we would not reccommend any British people to eat there either,
  
  Keep you're racists and there are plenty other places to eat in Bagneres! Happy to take my money there.
